Wild Strawberry, Discarded and Annoyed Cats…

A mix of photographs today. The wild strawberry plant which attached itself to my wall is thriving and the first few strawberries have ripened. As I was walking through the backs yesterday someone had discarded a set of chairs, carefully placing them like a set of red sails. We now have a street rubbish warden patrolling the area so things like this get cleared very quickly, which I suppose is a good thing. Then, as I walk around photographing back gates, walls and discarded objects I am often distrustfully watched by cats, and here are a couple annoyed that I have disturbed their rest. These cats are back street hard nuts, rather like my old ginger tom Smith (I didn’t name him) who died in 2002, with fewer limbs, ears, tails and so on than they should have.
