Chalk

Well it may be either chalk or limestone, must find out. These pictures are from my visit to France. Around my friends’ farmhouse are outcrops of chalk/limestone and they fascinated me, the stone creates a white ‘ground’ to the landscape, very different to the clays where I live. So when I went in August I planned to take some photographs, I didn’t get as many done as planned, perhaps something for another time. I like how the roots and leaves stand out or blend with the white/grey textures.
