The back of Lidl

These come from yesterday, and are taken only about 100yds/m away from the Misty Morning photographs of yesterday, which is one of the ‘joys’ of living in such a contrasting area. I had planned these for some time, finding the harshness of the green fence and interesting compositional element against the factory greyness of the Lidl store. The flat light was one I was looking for to emphasise the mechanical nature, however I may go on a sunny early morning in late May/June and get a different harsher feel.

  1. Pleased you also share another character place that also available around yours…. This one is very industrial, all are straight lines. Very different from the gates/building you usually capture that still shows any life (plants, shrubs)…. Interesting!
