Komorebi is a Japanese word for sunlight that filters through leaves. I like the word and it fits many pictures I take and this site has a few more useful words which can take whole sentences in English. So with the word in mind I took some photographs yesterday as I was walking up a disused lane to a friend’s home to sit with her kids for a while. The sun was very bright at 9.30am and being August a bit lower in the sky so creating more interesting light patterns. I had black and white in mind when taking, but ended up using one colour here. These were taken on my phone and I was being tugged by my dog to move on! When taking these, I felt the pattern of trees and branches were like the magnificent Jackson Pollock Blue Poles painting.
