Renegade Readers February 25th 2016

Five of us attended, fewer than usual but we had some good discussions which ranged far from, but inspired by, the readings.

The pieces read included:

The Summer Book by Tove Jansson

The French Revolution as it appears to its enthusiasts at its commencement by William Wordsworth

Little Willie Banger by Elin Williams – I cannot find any links to this poem or poet, it appeared in Poetry 3 – The Key to the Kingdom, a selection for schools from 1962, if anyone knows more please contact me.

The next meeting will be at 11am on Thursday 31st March at Newcastle-under-Lyme Library. All are welcome to attend and bring along any type of writing to read or just come along and listen.
