Renegade Readers – March 30th 2017

We met as usual at Newcastle-under-Lyme Library, less than usual, five people, but the readings were as ever a delight and the discussion excellent!

2 poems from Rosie Garland‘s recent collection As in JudyThe Ghost of You and My Favourite Uncle (Rosie reading poetry, though not these two)

A passage from One Child by Mei Fong

The Voyage of the Maeldune – a ballad by Alfred Lord Tennyson

Henry Reid‘s Second World War poem The Naming of Parts

The next meeting will be at Newcastle-under-Lyme Library at 11am, on Thursday April 27th, all are welcome to attend, it is free and you can read anything you wish to or listen to others, it’s a lovely couple of hours.
