These are photographs taken at The V & A Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green, there will be images from other museums in the future. I was looking for edges, corners, the way pieces sit and watch the visitors, details, the stands, the combinations, the reflections in the glass cases. These were often quite long exposures using the prevailing light and the lens wide open, so that only one small area is in focus and the surroundings are an abstract mash of colour and lines. I planned that for the Museum of Childhood all images would be square and in colour and shown quite small.
Many thanks to the Museum of Childhood for allowing me to take these photographs.
